Matt Morehouse joined Brink engineers to present the state of Lightning Network fuzz testing, some of his work and bugs he has found, and ways for others to contribute.

In his presentation, he discussed:

  • Importance of fuzz testing in the Lightning Network
  • State of LN fuzzing today across LN implementations
  • State machine fuzzing, differential fuzzing
  • Lack of buy in for fuzzing from LN node maintainers
  • A call for fuzzing contributors and ways to contribute
